Exclusive Interview with Photovoltaic Power Station Leader in Guilin
Last week, ManyBird had the exclusive opportunity to sit down and speak with Mr. Michael Linder, CEO of SolarTech – a leading company in photovoltaic (PV) power station technology located in Guilin, China. During our conversation, Mr. Linder shared some exciting developments and his vision for the future of PV technology in the region.

Guilin, a city known for its beautiful landscape and vibrant energy market, is increasingly becoming a hub for renewable energy companies like SolarTech. "We chose Guilin as our base of operations because we saw great potential for growth and innovation," explained Mr. Linder.
SolarTech recently announced a breakthrough in PV panel efficiency, with their latest product offering more than 25% improvement over existing technologies. This development has attracted significant interest from international partners, including a recent partnership with the National University of Singapore (NUS), which will focus on enhancing PV silicon material research.
Mr. Linder expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership: "Collaborating with NUS will accelerate our research efforts and bring us closer to achieving higher efficiency rates. It's an exciting time for both our companies."
When asked about the challenges facing the industry, he said, "The primary challenge is integrating PV technology into existing grids efficiently. We need more innovative solutions to ensure stable energy supply." He also emphasized the importance of education and awareness campaigns to promote solar energy adoption among the general public.
Mr. Linder concluded by sharing his vision: "Our goal is not just to lead the market but to transform it by making renewable energy accessible and affordable for everyone. With ongoing advancements, we believe that photovoltaic technology can be a cornerstone of our sustainable future."
